Former NBA All-Star John Drew was a member of the Atlanta Hawks in the mid-1970's and most famously was banned from the NBA in 1985 based on the league's substance abuse policy. Today, he drives a taxi for a living.

As I was checking out The OKC Thunder vs. New Orleans Hornets game, the announcer for the Thunder dropped a little jewel from the team’s recent trip to Houston. A few of the players jumped in a cab for parts unknown. John Drew was the 7th pick by the Atlanta Hawks in the 1974 NBA Draft. He led the league in offensive rebounding his rookie season and was a two-time all-star for the Hawks. He was traded to Utah in 1982 for Dominique Wilkins.
