Eddy Curry Owes Chicago Luxury Car Repair Shop More Than $73,000

It has been documented that Eddy Curry of the New York Knicks has had money troubles as of late but this story might have him rethinking how he spends his hard-earned cash.

Honestly, you would think that a man who has made over $70 million dollars in his NBA career wouldn't have any trouble paying off car repairs. However, you would be wrong on that one.

We get more from The Chicago Sun-Times:

A luxury car repair shop in Chicago’s South Loop alleges in the suit that Curry — who now plays for the New York Knick — racked up more than $73,000 in repair bills on vehicles including a Cadillac Escalade, Mercedes Benz, Range Rover, and Rolls-Royce Phantom. But several checks he issued to the shop were “returned by the bank for non-sufficient funds,’’ the suit filed in Cook County Circuit Court alleges.

A lawsuit has been filed against former Chicago Bull Eddy Curry for allegedly racking up more than $73,000 in repair bills on vehicles serviced at a luxury car repair shop in Chicago’s South Loop.

Lee’s Foreign Car Service, at 727 South Jefferson, filed the breach-of-contract lawsuit and demanded payment for work done in 2007 and 2008.
I guess you can say for once that Curry can bounce something on the hardwood and off of it.
