To preface this post, I don't normally watch NBC's "Parks and Recreations" but when former NBA player Detlef Schrempf appears in the episode, you know I'm game.
The plot for the episode was Amy Poehler's character (Leslie Knope) is getting together a telethon for diabetes where Detlef Schrempf is supposed to appear for a career retrospective.
The major issue is trying to Detlef Schrempf to the telethon which is the job of Aziz Ansari's character (Tom Haverford) who keeps getting side-tracked.
