After the Magic 8 Ball went 5-3 for the first round of the NBA playoffs and nearly calling the Bucks upset of the Hawks, we figured that maybe we were tampering with the predictive power of it, a little too much.
However, when we asked it about if it wanted to predict the second round of the playoffs it came back with a, "You May Rely On It". Who can argue with that?

Eastern Conference Semifinals
(1) Cleveland Cavaliers vs. (4) Boston Celtics
After getting through the Chicago Bulls, the Cleveland Cavaliers have to face a familiar foe in the Boston Celtics.
Our Magic 8 Ball had a little bit of trouble trying to predict this series as it first came back with, "Better Not Tell You Now" and "Cannot Predict Now". So, we gave it a break and it came back with a resounding "Yes" for the Cavaliers but the series to be at least 6-7 games.

(2) Orlando Magic vs. (3) Atlanta Hawks
The Orlando Magic essentially had a full week off before they start their second round series against the Atlanta Hawks.
Some people might assume that the Magic could be rusty and the Hawks might catching their stride.
Our Magic 8 Ball had trouble with this series as well. It first came back with, "Ask Again Later" and "Hazy, Try Again Later."
Eventually, it came back for the Magic with a "Very Doubtful" meaning the Hawks will win in a 6-7 game series.

Western Conference Semifinals
(1) Los Angeles Lakers vs. (5) Utah Jazz
Our Magic 8 Ball had a little bit of an easier time picking the Western Conference as it first started out with the Lakers/Jazz battle.
The response from the 8 ball was in favor of the Lakers with a "Outlook Look Good"

(3) Phoenix Suns vs. (7) San Antonio Spurs
During the NBA of the 2000's, there has not been a playoff matchup as intense as the Suns/Spurs.
Most would think with the experience of the San Antonio Spurs, they would be on the fast track to the Western Conference Finals.
However, our Magic 8 Ball went with the Suns with a "You May Rely On It".
