Manu Ginobli's "Battering-Ram" ends Bat Delay
There are a variety of occurrences for an NBA delay from issues with the clock to lighting problems and even the occasional hawk attack. However, this is a first for the NBA, "a bat delay" and right on cue during Halloween.
Nearing the end of the first quarter between the San Antonio Spurs and the Sacramento Kings, a actual bat flew onto the court and caused a "bat delay."
The game was delayed for a period of time until Manu Ginobili and his cat-like instincts smashed the bat. The bat eventually perished due to that hit but I have feeling that if the Spurs are ever in trouble, Bruce Wayne will be nowhere in sight.
UPDATE-Here is the clip of Ginobli knocking the bat out of the air in real-time with play by play.
