There was once a period of time that Cartoon Network only showed cartoons and I think some of us were happy with that.
Well, Cartoon Network recently partnered with the NBA to create NBA-related programming for younger children and this will be the spoils of this partnership.

The network is also taking advantage of its relationship with Turner Sports on Run It Back Sunday. The show will take the NBA On TNT game of the week and remix it into an hour, adding special effects (like flames around the net or ball) and pop up trivia about the game and players.So I guess you could say that it would sorta be like NBA Jam sans controller for your eight year old son. I will say that it will be interesting to see how the show will be presented and how the special effects will be utilized.
At least now, The New Jersey Nets can finally be presented in the way they should be.
